This CRS designation is awarded only to residential real estate associates who complete a rigorous educational curriculum, meet demanding sales quotas and have the required experience level in residential Real Estate.  Presently serves the Indiana Association of Realtors as State Director.

Community service is Number One with 'BJ'. She served 6 years on the Monroe County Plan Commission and several years of committee work with the Bloomington Board of Realtors. Her most cherished awards include '1990 Business Woman of the Year' from the Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce, and from the Indiana Association of REALTORS the 'Distinguished Citizen Award' for community service.  Distinguished member of the American Business Women Association, Bloomington Board of Realtors, Indiana Association of Realtors, and National Association of Realtors.

Richard Blankenfeld (BJ's husband) is a retired Navy Captain. In his Navy career he performed in a variety of challenging assignments focusing on Navy Logistics. His last assignment was as Officer in Charge of the Navy Management Consulting Office. He is a veteran of over twenty home moves and understands the needs of prospective hometowns.
